I had always wanted to visit Sydney, even as a very young child. In fact, if I had ever lived there I would never want to live. The sightseeing and natural sightseeing spots are amazing, as well as the wildlife. My family was actually originally from Sydney, but had moved to the states before I was born. My parents never really explained why they never wanted to go back to Australia.  They always just said that they had spent years there and it was not all it was cracked up to be - I disagreed. They wanted to go see other areas of the world, despite what I wanted.

So, when I got old enough to pay for a vacation on my own, I decided that I was going to have to go on my own. It was at that time that they mysteriously decided they wanted to go as well. To say the least, I made at least a few funny remarks about their change of heart after they decided to go.

Family did not know that we were coming. It had been so long since my parents had talked to them that they did not even have their contact information anymore so we had to look them up in a directory. I met a cousin who was a guy and was my age. He said that he was going to a ball that night, and that I could come if I could secure a date. I was going to have to go to a Sydney escort service for a date, which is what he suggested, but did not sit all that well with me. Int he US, escort services are seen as prostitution rings, which is not really the case in Sydney. In Sydney, they are seen as legitimate businesses where models provide dates. 

Eventually, I did find a date. One of my cousins friends, which made me feel better because I was not willing to use the Sydney escorts really. In the end, it was one of the funnest vacations that I have ever had and I enjoyed my time there quite a bit. They have extended their house to me on several different occasions and I plan on going back soon. .
